What a holiday! I must say that a few weeks away is exactly what the doctor ordered! Beautiful sunshine and white sandy shores have done me the world of good, but now I’m back, and have brought a little piece of Costa Brava back to share with you all!
During my holiday, (this is starting to sound a little like a primary school presentation!) I spent most of my time lounging on the beaches and wandering through markets, I had all the time in the world to sit back, relax and do what love most -bring you all fantastic pieces of jewellery through my Etsy shop- and yes that really is what I love to do most! However! When I got there, much to my dismay, out 4 star hotel had no Wi-Fi!! You had to pay a ridiculous amount each day and as it turns out the Wi-Fi didn’t even reach out room! As you can imagine this was a bit of a conundrum for me as I had planned to still be able to keep you all updated with my latest finds, but instead, I found myself having to use McDonalds Wi-Fi just to post a picture, and as McDonalds wasn’t particularly close to the hotel, I didn’t get to share as much as I’d like to with you, and for that I’m sorry.
However! Not to worry! Nearing the end of my holiday – in fact the last day- we travelled to Barcelona for the football match in the evening, but I managed to spend most of the day at a huge flea market! One of the biggest in Spain! There were stalls absolutely everywhere, and three floors! I didn’t know where to start! Of course, a lot of the stalls were just selling tat and household goods, but there were many little stalls selling antiques and jewellery and I got round them all!
After some intense haggling I managed to bring back lots of little Spanish
treasures for you all to browse in my shop, as they are taking me quite some time to photograph, clean, write descriptions etc. I think I’m just going to let them trickle out onto Etsy, listing maybe one or two a day. I really do hope you all enjoy the pieces, many of them are pendants, and many are silver, this is because there are some dodgy "gold" dealers at this market, and I didn’t want to risk it. (I actually bought a few pendants I thought may be gold and it turns out they were not, beautiful none the less, but still not what I was after).
Any way! I’m off to unpack, thank you all for being so patient with me whilst I was away, I’m glad to be back and have missed you all! Ta Ta! Luna x
